Art Festival in Zaraisk

The art festival "Reboot" isn't about starting from scratch, but about returning to our roots. We listen to the city to understand how it resonates today—in the exhibitions "House from Cellar to Attic," "Dandelion Wine," "Zaraysk Window Frames," an art residency at the Machteta House.

In this sense, Zaraysk isn't a province, but a territory of meaning, where new forms of communication between artists, space, and time are born. https://zaraysk-art.ru/

(Thinkable) Unthinkable

The exhibition project concludes the educational block on "Personal Mythology." During this module, students worked on developing their inner core and frame of reference, searching for new themes, images, and methods, and individualizing their artistic language.

The result of this process was the exhibition "(Thinkable) Unthinkable," which is not so much a conclusion as a recognition that reality is broader than any language attempting to describe it. The artists here act as locators measuring the distance between the self and the world: some explore internal mechanisms, others the fragile systems of life, the past, or media images. The works in the exhibition are not simply objects but also points of contact with that which, while nameless, already demands attention. And in many ways, this is the realm of intuition, the subconscious, the transcendental, the ephemeral, where awareness and the unconscious operate simultaneously.
